BOLD AS LIONS

"Whoever declares openly - speaking out freely - and confesses that he is My worshipper and acknowledges Me before men, the Son of man also will declare and confess and acknowledge him before the angels of God." (Jesus speaking Luke 12:8 AMP)

As young people we are sometimes placed in the hardest of mission fields with a group of people who seem to offer the harshest of persecutions right here in our own schools.  Our teachers seem to be against what is right and peers have their parents, teachers and most of the school working with them on the side of the enemy.
Avoiding those people or the subject of Righteousness may seem like the easiest way to breeze through and to stay clear of conflict.  Let me tell you that though it may seem like the easy and harmless way to go,THAT IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH!!
Christ himself is very clear in Luke 12:8-9' if we will confess Him, He Himself will confess us!!  But there is more to the passage.  If we deny Him He will deny us.  That is a very severe thought that we need to take very seriously.
I encourage you this week to step out, be bold, stand up for the One who has given you eternal life!! Can you imagine the day we will stand before the Father and the TIVO of your life is looked over.  How amazing it will be to look and see all the opportunities you took to stand up for what was right and to proclaim the Kingdom of God!

TRUE LOVE!!!

"So, no matter what I do, I'm bankrupt without love.  Love never gives up.  Love cares more for others than for self.  Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.  Love doesn't, doesn't have a swelled haed, doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always 'me first',...." (1 Corinthians 13:3-5 Message Bible)

There is a song that was pretty big a while ago whose main verse was "Love is a Verb."  This passage really spells out how much of an action love really is.  The action is not one of physical touch, such as hugs and kisses, but is one that must begin within ourselves first.
The building of spiritual character in myself brings about the true action of love.  If I am right with Christ and have a personal relationship in which I am reading my Word and am in fellowship with Him and others who are also in Christ, then my life will automatically act out love.
I will be able to care for others.  I will be able to share.  I will be happy with what Christ has given me now.  I won't think I am better then others.  I will always want to bless others and put them before myself.  True love is hard work.  It is truely an action.  Show someone true love today!!  Make it a point to get in your Word, talk to the Lord then set out to show what love really is!
